Friday's Starting Times determined by Wednesday's scores, hgher scores earlier, lower scores later.

Must be 55 before December 1, 2020

Signups open 6:00am Wednesday October 14. Starting Times in this tee-time "Block" run from 8:00am to 12 Noon by calling the pro-shop.
If you do not get a tee time in the "Block" your next chance for a tee time is November 3 for San Clemente residents and November 4 for non-residents, by going online and booking a time through the City's tee-time reservation system.

  • Lowest Gross Score will be Senior Club Champion and will represent SCMGC at the SCGA Tournament of Senior Club Champions.
  • Lowest Net Score will be Net Senior Club Champion and will represent SCMGC at the SCGA Tournament of Net Senior Club Champions.
  • Equal Prizes for Net and Gross
  • Lowest Handicap Index for the last 3 months.
  • $20.00 entry fee to be paid at sign up

Select the best drive between you and your partner and` then each player plays his own ball until he holes out. Best Score of the two. Minimum 5 drives per player.

October 7th is the date that the Tee-Time "Block" for the NOVEMBER 4th, 2 Man Odd/Even Tournament opens up at 6:00am. The Tee-Time "Block" is the consecutive tee-times from 8:00am to 9:30am provided to our Club by the City. To reserve a time in the "Block", you must either inform the pro-shop in person or by phone that you want one of the tee times. There are only 40 spots for 20 teams and the spots go quickly. If you get one of these tee-times you do not have to notify the club.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the 121st U.S. Open Championship! Due to the overwhelming response to our volunteer program, all volunteer committees are currently on a waitlist. If you would prefer to join the waitlist for one of our volunteer committees, contact the Championship Office at 2021usopen@usga.org or proceed to the online waitlist application. Please note that if you opt to join the waitlist you will NOT be guaranteed a position in our volunteer program. No payment for the volunteer package is required for submitting a waitlist application. Thank you!
Ignore it and continue to New Volunteer Registration            fill out the application, because once you fill in Talega in the Registration Code box and setup your login and password you will be sent to the regular Volunteer Registration. Just fill out all the information. Your registration will not be complete until you pay for your Volunteer Package which includes:
  • Volunteers will receive a personalized and non-transferable credential valid for all seven (7) days of the championship
  • A meal voucher for each assigned shift
  • Access to Volunteer Hospitality

You are committing to volunteer for 3 to 4 shifts. Each shift last half a day.

Holes are assigned after the final count of volunteers is determined. We plan to bring at least 75 for our crew.
If all spots of our group are not filled, eventually the USGA will fill any of our open spots from the waiting list.

Watch in the morning, then volunteer in the afternoon, or vice versa.
Longer days during the week, after the Friday cut, the shifts are shorter.
We really enjoyed the practice round shifts last time. The players are loose and talkative. All that changes on Thursday.
