Our Final Championship Match has been set. Jeff Hooper from B flight will take on C Flight Champ Dennis Curran.

Andrew MacBeth the A Flight winner will play in the consolation match against D Flight's winner Jim Dahl.
The final Matches are to be played Friday Sept. 25 at 8:00am

The Player with the lowest gross score after 2 rounds of golf will be Club Champion

The Player with the lowest Net Score after 2 rounds of golf will be Net Club Champion

2 Days, Gross, no handicaps The winner is San Clemente Men's Club Champion and will represent SCGMC at the SCGA's Tournament of Club Champions December 7th at the Angeles National Golf Club,Sunland, CA


Net Club Championship       BLUE TEES
2 Days, Net, Course Handicap based on a low index (last 3 months) of 24.4 or less The winner is San Clemente's Men's Net Club Champion and will represent SCGMC at the SCGA's Tournament of Club Champions (Net) December 7th at one of 3 courses in the Cochella Valley.


To Enter Both Championships is only $20.00
All entry fees must be paid at the time you sign up (except Skins).
  • Starting Sunday September 20th Select your tee times between 8:00 am and 9:30am by calling or going to the pro-shop
  • The tee time you select will be for the first day of the tournament.
  • If you do not get a reservaiton in the Tee Time "BLOCK", you may make your own starting time by going on line on Friday October 9th and making a reservation. Because of time limits the latest starting time allowed is 12:30pm
  • There will be a cut to the lowest 20 Gross scores and the lowest 20 Net scores after Friday. Maximum of 40 players. Ties will be broken by card off.
  • On Saturday October 17th ONLY the Low 20 Gross and the Low 20 Net scores will play for the Champioships

OCTOBER'S WEDNESDAY TOURNAMENT

Select the best drive between you and your partner and` then each player plays his own ball until he holes out. Best Score of the two. Minimum 5 drives per player.
  • $10.00 Entry Fee, White Tees
  • 90% of Each Players Handicap
  • An additional 10% will be deducted if 8 or more strokes between partners.
  • 2 Flights by Handicap
  • Your scores will not be posted
The Starting Time "Block" is full for this tournament. If you wish to play in this tournament you will have to go online SEPTEMBER 30 at 6:00am and make a starting time for you and your partner. This is done just as if you were making a starting time for a regular round of golf at the Muni.
Once you have made your starting time you must notify the tournament directory by email: sanclementemensclub@gmail.com) of that starting time and all members who are playing in the tournament using that starting time.

Beginning , Wednesday, July 29 (for tee times beginning August 5), online tee time bookings will be once again managed by the Pro Shop. The site will look a little different with enhancements to:
  • easily book a foursome with the ability to split payments at check-in
  • cancel your tee time on your own online up to 24 hours in advance

How do I book my next tee time?
Booking will still be done online beginning at 6:00am one week in advance at www.san-clemente.org/golf. To make this transition as easy as possible, we have set up your new account already. The first time you log in, your username and password will both be your email address (enter your email twice).

Can I book by phone or walk up?
At this time booking is online only. The transfer to booking through Pro Shop managed golf software is an important step towards returning to full course operations.

Important information for Resident Card Holders
Your Resident Card discount will be applied at check-in. Most Resident Card information has been entered into the new system already. You can double check your Resident Card has been entered under "My Passes". If you do not see your current Resident Card, please bring it to the Pro Shop at check-in to ensure your information and rates are updated for your current and future tee times. Note resident card expirations have been extended to accommodate the spring course closure.

Please take the time to read the instructions. When you first reach the USGA volunteer webpage you will see this notice:

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the 121st U.S. Open Championship! Due to the overwhelming response to our volunteer program, all volunteer committees are currently on a waitlist. If you would prefer to join the waitlist for one of our volunteer committees, contact the Championship Office at 2021usopen@usga.org or proceed to the online waitlist application. Please note that if you opt to join the waitlist you will NOT be guaranteed a position in our volunteer program. No payment for the volunteer package is required for submitting a waitlist application. Thank you!
Ignore it and continue to New Volunteer Registration            fill out the application, because once you fill in Talega in the Registration Code box and setup your login and password you will be sent to the regular Volunteer Registration. Just fill out all the information. Your registration will not be complete until you pay for your Volunteer Package which includes:
  • Volunteers will receive a personalized and non-transferable credential valid for all seven (7) days of the championship
  • A meal voucher for each assigned shift

Marshal the 2021 US Open with the team from San Clemente!
You are committing to volunteer for 3 to 4 shifts. Each shift last half a day.

Holes are assigned after the final count of volunteers is determined. We plan to bring at least 75 for our crew.
If all spots of our group are not filled, eventually the USGA will fill any of our open spots from the waiting list.

Watch in the morning, then volunteer in the afternoon, or vice versa.
Longer days during the week, after the Friday cut, the shifts are shorter.
We really enjoyed the practice round shifts last time. The players are loose and talkative. All that changes on Thursday.
